It is the work of scriptural IGNORANCE for Church Pastor and any minister of God to preach GENERATIONAL CURSE as an issue to the born again Child of God, no matter the believer’s condition or challenge.

The root (strength) of the teaching of genrational Curse is IN the law (Old Covenant, Testament). Beyond the Old Testament and its law, generational curse does NOT exist for the believer IN Christ.

Deuteronomy 5:9
Thou shalt NOT BOW DOWN THYSELF unto them (idols), nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, VISITING the iniquity of the FATHERS UPON THE CHILDREN unto the third and fourth GENERATION of them that hate me.

Can you see that? Generational curse took its life from the law under the old testament (covenant). What it means is that in the ABSENCE of the law generational curse will NOT EXIST. So to change or bring generational curse to an end there has to be a change in the covenant, testament, which is the law.

Jeremiah 31:31-32
Behold, THE DAYS COME, saith the Lord, that I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT (Testament) with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:

Under the same old covenant on which the law stands, God VOWED to bring a change. God says the change will be that the old covenant (Testament) will be brought to an END. In bringing the old covenant to an end a NEW COVENANT (Testament) will come into effect.

The question now is what will be the character of this New Covenant (Testament)? Check this out:

Jeremiah 31:29-30
IN THOSE DAYS THEY SHALL SAY NO MORE, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
30 But EVERY ONE SHALL DIE FOR HIS OWN INIQUITY: every man that eateth the sour grape, HIS TEETH SHALL BE SET ON EDGE.

God says when the New Covenant (Testament) comes into effect “They shall say NO more…” What shall they say NO more? “The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge”. Simply put, GENERATIONAL CURSE shall be NO more.

How God ENDED Generational curse:

God ended generational Curse by the COMING OF JESUS.

Galatians 4:4
But WHEN THE FULNESS OF THE TIME WAS COME, God SENT forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

When what time came? The time of the END of generational curse, God SENT is Son JESUS CHRIST. To do what?

Galatians 4:5
5 To REDEEM THEM that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Jesus was SENT by the Father to REDEEM, librate and free them who were UNDER of the old covenant (Testament) from which stood the operations of generational curse according to the law.

Hebrews 8:6
But NOW hath JESUS obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also JESUS is the mediator of a BETTER COVENANT, which was established upon BETTER PROMISES.

As far as the NEW COVENANT (Testament) is concerned, you CANNOT bypass Jesus. He is the mediator, the go-between of the New Covenant. And the Bible says this New Testament Covenant Jesus MIDWIFED is a Better Covenant. How? There is NO room for a generational curse in it! The New Testament is established upon BETTER PROMISES. There is no promise of “do wrong get wrong”.

Whether your father, mother or any other person around you are under any form of curse bevause they are not saved, that curse has no bearing on you. As a born again believe IN Christ Jesus, you can NEVER be or come under any generational curse, NEVER!

Galatians 3:29 (HCSB)
And if you Belong To Christ, then you are ABRAHAM’S SEED…

Can you see that? In this New Covenant (Testament), If you belong to Christ Jesus, Abraham becomes your father, LINEAGE. And being Abraham’s seed, LINEAGE, see only what follows you.

Galatians 3:9 (HCSB)
So those who have faith (In Christ Jesus) ARE BLESSED WITH ABRAHAM, who had faith.

If you are a believer IN Christ Jesus, YOU ARE ONLY BLESSED WITH ABRAHAM. Again how did God made it happen?

Galatians 3:13-14
Christ hath REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM MIGHT COME ON THE GENTILES through Jesus Christ…

Jesus took on the curse of the law, which by extension is the generational curse. That way Christ REDEEMED us, so the BLESSING of Abraham might come upon us. The only thing that follows a born again believer IN Christ Jesus is a generational BLESSING, this is regardless of your present circumstance.

I like for you to say to yourself, out loud “I can never be under any generational curse, never! Christ Jesus HAS redeemed me”. All that follows me is only generational blessing.

Stop believing a lie, you are not and can never be under financial, marital, emotion or spiritual generational curse. You have been redeemed, accept who you are IN Christ and do not allow anybody, including a minister to ignorantly drag you into what God has redeemed you from.

Generational curse does NOT exist for the child of God IN Christ Jesus. Now see HOW Christ Jesus Redeemed us finally from generational curse?
