MAKE PRAYER A HABIT!
Romans 12:12 NRSV
Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.
Prayer is a habit that, like every other good habit, MUST BE DEVELOPED.
You know you need to pray. You know you need God’s help, His wisdom and His guidance; but you must persevere in prayer.
The activities of life try to keep you from praying. So persevere! You must of necessity establish a rigid protocol of a lifestyle of prayer that forbids prayerlessness.
Luke 21:36 BBE
But keep watch at all times with prayer, that you may be STRONG ENOUGH to come through all these things and take your place before the Son of man.
Though you are STRONG as a born again, if you are not prayerfully positioned you are NOT STRONG ENOUGH.
In communing with God, you gain strength that comes in no other way and find the wisdom and courage to face life as an overcomer.
1 Thess 5:17-18 ICB
Never stop praying. Give thanks whatever happens. That is what God wants for you in Christ Jesus.
Learn to always include God in your thoughts. As a matter of fact you are expected to make JESUS your consciousness and concentration.
Make it a habit of talking to GOD about everything. He’s your Father after all, and no one could ever love you better than He does. And so it is his desire that you cultivate a relationship with him through continual and constant communication. One important thing is to communicate your gratitude; thanking God for everything.
Contrary to what we have been taught to believe, we must not relegate prayers to just going on our KNEES or presenting our NEEDS before God. But as you go about your activities, make it a habit of including ABBA FATHER in your everyday life by constant communion with Him through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Here is the key
Talk to God about everything!
SAY THIS
Precious Holy Spirit, help me to develop a habit of CONTINUAL COMMUNICATION with You.
Happy Jesus-Focused weekend
