Heb 12:2 Jesus is the only access- the ability to look away from things that are contending with your attention. When Jesus was going to the cross, there was a thought- will someone one day embrace my gospel? will men believe in me? But he gave the first incentive of our belief; he chose to believe that there will be a church, a people that will believe in what his love has done. But despite this, there will always be things calling for our attention. Mark 4:19 The Bible didn’t say these things won’t come or exist, but it says look away because these things only choke and suffocate the word; not because it is not of God but because according to Hebrew 4:2.. the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith(the leaning of one’s entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in his power, wisdom and goodness) they listened but did not fix their attention on Him.
Heb 4:1 While the promise of entering his rest still holds…let us be afraid to distrust it. Like I love to say; we are never alone, let us focus on what matters. Hebrews 2:9 But we are able to see Jesus..AMP…what we do is see Jesus MSG. A song says through it all my eyes are on you…it means we don’t deny that bad things happen but we know we have a God whose beauty radiates, shines brighter than the dark sound us.
Remain blessed. Have a Jesus focused week
