Matthew 19:24-26 It is easier for a camel to go through the eyes of a camel…this is impossible with man, but with God, all things are possible.

This is something impossible but Jesus said it is easier…so as impossible as it sounds, it is actually possible for a camel to go through the eyes of a needle. Something happened in the book of Psalm 114; David by the spirit spoke to the Jordan river, he said,”..why did you turn back?” Verse 3. In the book of Joshua chapter 3 verse 8 when Joshua and the Israelites were camping in Jordan before crossing over, God said to Joshua, “Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant: ‘When you reach the edge of the Jordan’s waters, go and stand in the river.”(NIV) and then reading further, the bible says that at the time this happened, the river was at flood stage, so it was flowing downstream with a force, yet verse 15-16 says,”… as soon as the priests who carried the ark reached the Jordan and their feet touched the water’s edge, the water from upstream stopped flowing…”and then the people crossed on dry land to the other side. So this was what David was pondering on in Psalm 114 when he said, ” The Red Sea saw them coming and hurried out of their way! The water of the Jordan River turned away…. Why was it, O sea, that you fled, O Jordan, that you turned back” Then in verse 7 the answer came; “Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Israel. (NLT). So this was what Jordan saw; not the priests or Joshua or the people, but the ark representing the presence of God. Jordan saw the presence of God and it changed its course…water that had been made to flow in a particular direction ran mad and changed direction.

This is what should happen in your life’s challenges; let it see the presence of God in you. If you believe that with God all things are possible, then you must learn to rest. Present your God to your challenges, tell your situations what the Lord has done for you. The Red Sea didn’t cross because it saw the Egyptians chasing the Israelites, No. It parted because it saw the presence of God in the midst of the people. Present your God to every condition trying to mock you, sit it down and tell it how great and mighty your God is. From today, go out and live with the mentality that with God all things are possible.

God bless you
