Prayer, Fasting, Giving to God’s work, Cleaning the Church Altar or toilet are all good deeds, but none of these will ever make you any more spiritual than you are as a NEW MAN (born again) IN CHRIST.
1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is BORN OF GOD…
God begats! God gives birth. How does God do it?
1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath BEGOTTEN US again unto a lively hope BY THE RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ from the dead.
God gave birth to us by raising Jesus from the dead. Now being born of God, we are born a NEW Creation (Man) in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
Therefore if any man BE IN Christ, he is a NEW CREATURE: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And ALL THINGS are of God…
That is good news right there! We are born again a NEW CREATION (spirit-being) in Christ. What this means it that you are a spirit-being in Christ. This is your new reality, being born again a NEW man IN Christ.
You are a SPIRIT. Your spirituality has NOTHING to do with you, but has everything to do with God. The scripture we read says in verse 18 “All THINGS (concerning this NEW you, man, which you are) are of (by) God.”
My dear, STOP stressing yourself trying to figure out how to be spiritual, you are (born again) SPIRITUAL. When you come to know, understand and accept this truth for yourself, living and walking “spiritual” will become a struggle free lifestyle for you.
Like a fish, have you ever heard that a fish born in the water ever attended the school of swimming in order to swim in the water? Beloved so it is for everyone born of God IN Christ Jesus, we are born spiritual and we live a SPIRITUAL LIFE (it’s our NATURAL habitat). Whether we know it or not is another topic.
There is no school to ATTEND, steps to be TAUGHT, codes to be KNOWN or principles to FOLLOW to be SPIRITUAL. You are BORN AGAIN spirirual.
Until You are born again you are of the Flesh. But that you are a born again believer IN Christ, your spirituality CANNOT be changed.
According to our Lord Jesus Christ, it is written:
John 3:6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT.
You can take this truth to the bank any day and at any time. If you are a born again Christian, you are born a spiritual being. And whatever is BORN of the Spirit is spirit, it can’t be otherwise.
Accept Your SPIRITUALITY:
Your SPIRITUALITY is NOT dependent on your ACTIONS or IN ACTIONS! (oh my JESUS! I have just made enemies by this Truth. Religious minds will fight this scriptural truth right here, but then it doesn’t change the truth.)
I know someone will quickly point out quotes from some passages in the epistles that says “if you are IN the flesh…” Or “if you sow to the flesh…” Beloved search the scriptures yourself, none of them says anything about the possibility of you losing your spirituality, because you walked or sowed to the flesh, NONE!
How then do you KNOW you are not only spiritual but as a NEW man IN Christ you are ALWAYS spiritual?
Chai! This thing is doing me as though I took something (just for laugh, don’t be too serious, it is not good for your health…Lol). Back to the Truth.
How do you know you can never be unspiritual as a born again New man IN Christ? Watch this:
Romans 8:9
But ye are NOT IN THE FLESH, but IN the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God DWELL IN YOU.
A born again believer IN Christ Jesus CANNOT be IN the flesh, but you can certainly SOW to your flesh or walk in the flesh (which can make the devil take advantage of you), but with that still, you cannot lose your spirituality. How?
Paul says “YOU” referring to believers IN Christ, you are “NOT IN THE FLESH”. Why did he say that to the saints in Rome? “You are NOT in the flesh” Was it because they never did anything wrong? That is not correct! because in the previous chapter even Apostle Paul tried encouraging them with his own struggle in his flesh.
So what then could Paul be talking about when he says to them “you are NOT in the flesh?” Let’s read that verse of scripture again:
Romans 8:9
But ye are NOT in the flesh, but IN the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God DWELL IN YOU.
The only reason given to prove you are NOT and can NEVER be in the flesh as a born again New man IN Christ, is because THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLS IN YOU. Selah!!
Dear pastor (MINISTERS), I Challenge You To Teach This TRUTH. Free your people from needless struggles to be spiritual.
