1Samuel 2:9 “…for by strength shall no man prevail.” In the flesh the Christian life isn’t just difficult to live—it’s impossible!
Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
In your flesh, you can’t do what the Lord has told you to do. Reliance on human strength and effort is a wasteful reliance, seeing that it produces nothing of significance. Nothing of eternal value comes from the flesh(self effort).
John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing…”
It’s natural to be self-serving, self-seeking, and
self-promoting. This is what religion promotes. But Cristianity is not a religion; it’s a relationship!

Religion is driven by selfishness but Christianity (which is a relationship with God made possible only through faith in Jesus Christ) is powered by selflessness.
For example:
If somebody slaps you on the cheek, you want to hit both of theirs. (see Matt 5:39)
If someone takes something from you through a lawsuit, you want to hire the best lawyer to sue them back. (see Matt 5:40)

However, God has told you to do the opposite
Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
I have come to realize that without supernatural assistance, it’s impossible to do what Jesus commands!
Zechariah 4:6 “…This is the Word of the Lord…saying…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”
That’s why Paul declared, “It’s no longer me that lives, but Christ who lives through me” (Gal. 2:20).

There’s a tremendous amount of liberty that comes with recognising Christ in you and releasing Christ in you.
When you recognize that you have the same spirit Jesus had, you’ll walk with supernatural strength and love. What was impossible becomes possible!

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

So, with the Spirit of Christ in us, living the victorious Christian life is now possible.
He’s the one who enables us to “walk in love” which is ultimately what the Christian life is all about.

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Through the Spirit of Christ in us, we can live selflessly instead of selfishly!
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless i live; yet not i; but Christ lives in me; the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

May everything good from God be yours in JESUS Name!
